In the spirit of armchair travelers everywhere, the Voyager Ensemble explores a new country of the world every concert by combining standard repertoire along with a contemporary work by a composer from the region. This event focuses on Finland, with directors Airi Yoshioka and David Yang joined by eminent Finnish musicians Kurt Nikkanen and Martti Rousi performing the music of Rautavaara, Kaila, and Sibelius.
